Have you guys heard of Cato? It's amazing. All the same stuff as Lane Bryant, but for less than half the price. And trendy! Now, I'm not typically one for trends because I typically find them unflattering. But I do find myself pouting that there's no Forever 21 type store for 30-somethings. You know...fun but not skanky. Something I could wear to a party that doesn't cost a lot. Because you KNOW I'm going to spill ranch dressing on it, right? Right. I don't want to invest more than ten bucks in a sparkly top that I'll wear twice. CATO has work items like sweaters and black pants, but it also has sparkles, fringe and my favorite...LACE! Gasp! They have amazing clearance and even full price they average about $20 per item. YAY! Today at work, my friend Jen mentioned that she had gone New Year's shopping at CATO and had purchased 9 items of clothing for less than $100. Be still me heart! I know I made a face when she was telling me that story. Ha! CATO is fabulous but my credit card statement still shows some purchases from there that are um, not yet paid in full. This is another great example of a store that gets me into trouble. The prices are so low that instead of buying 1 thing that I need, I buy 10 that I want. I'm the one that told Jen about CATO and now because of my resolution, I must sit, listen and live vicariously through her shopping excursions! It's gonna be a long year, folks!
